I find it interesting, and by interesting I mean extremely frustrating and annoying, that in some comedy films they include rape comments/jokes. I recently saw Horrible Bosses and the Guilt Trip. Both films were pretty funny however they each had at least one reference to rape. I’m sorry, did I miss something? Since when did comedy and rape go hand-in-hand? When rape is acknowledged from a comedic standpoint, the implication is that rape is humorous. And that disgusts me.
